TCOT Podcast Episode 011 - Festive Felon

Season 7 Episode 9

Originally aired November 28, 1963

The Case of the Podcast is a Perry Mason Fan Podcast. We love and enjoy episodes from a tv

show from the late 1950’s and early 1960. It’s so old, it was filmed in Black & White.

Spilling the behinds-the-scenes tea on our favorite secretary: 3 facts about Della!

A few theatrical coincidences: one we’ve talked about

Hale's son William Katt played Paul Drake’s son and Paul Drake, Jr. was a detective. He played  alongside Hale in nine of the Perry Mason TV movies from 1985 to 1988.

Then Hale guest-starred on Katt's series, The Greatest American Hero and played his mother in the 1982 episode, "Who's Woo in America". She also played his mother in a movie the 1978 movie Big Wednesday.

She won the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress (Continuing Character) in a Dramatic Series in 1959.

Hale guest-starred in "Murder Impromptu", a 1971 episode of Ironside, Burr's first post-Perry Mason series. She played a character named Marsha Connell. She did not play Della in this one.
