TCOT Podcast - Episode 010 - Duplicate Daughter
Season 4 Episode 26
Originally aired May 20, 1961
The Case of the Podcast is a Perry Mason Fan Podcast. We love and enjoy episodes from a tv show from the late 1950’s and early 1960. It’s so old, it was filmed in Black & White.

You never know what influence a TV show can have on a person’s life.
Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayer has admitted the impact the show had on her. When she appeared for her confirmation hearings in July 2009, she said she was inspired by watching Perry Mason as a child, saying that it ignited the passion she had as a prosecutor. Then, In her 2013 memoir she wrote of the show’s influence while growing up in a Bronx housing project. She liked Perry but was also fond of Burger saying he was a good loser and more committed to the truth than in winning the case.
So this show impacted the life of a Supreme Court Judge. Go Perry !
