Dee Spills the Tea: Guess who Mike Preston was married to IRL

Bill Williams (Preston), whose real name was Herman August Wilhelm Katt was married to actress Barbara Hale – our beloved Della Street! They met during the filming of West of the Pecos and married on June 22, 1946. They had two daughters, Jodi and Juanita, and a son, actor William Katt who you might remember from the tv show the Greatest American Hero. Williams appeared on three other episodes of Perry Mason (which we haven’t reviewed yet). He also appeared with his son, William Katt, in a final season episode of Ironside, bringing him together again with Raymond Burr.
